Brief Description of Contest

This contest is held in conjunction with the newly aired “KAN KUKEJAR CINTA KAMU” on 17th December 2018.
Individuals (hereby known as“Contestant”) who adhere to the eligibility criteria as set out in the Terms and Conditions are eligible to participate in this Contest and stand a chance to win the prizes.

Brief mechanism of Contest

Eligible Contestants are required to watch “KAN KUKEJAR CINTA KAMU” and answer the questions to enter the Contest.

All Contestants must adhere to the mechanism of the Contest as may be notified or communicated by the Organiser during the Contest Period.

Any purchase not applicable using any vouchers from RoyalePharma.

Eligibility Criteria

This Contest is open to all residents of Malaysia aged  18  years  old  and  above as of 17th December 2018 except for the Special Internal Committee. No restriction to employees & family members

Contest Period

The Contest will commence and run from 17 December 2018 until 3 February 2019 (hereby known as “Contest Period”).

Any participation after the end of Contest Period will be disqualified.

The Organiser may at its sole and absolute discretion extend or hold the Contest Period at any time without any prior notice (hereby known as“the Extended Period”). Any participation in the Contest during the Extended Period (if any) is governed by these terms and conditions which shall remain in full force and effect and shall be read and construed to be enforceable.

Language of Contest

This Contest is organized by the Organiser in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Entries submitted in any other languages will be rejected by the Organiser.

Entry Procedure

Contestants are required to perform the following to qualify and participate in the Contest:

Step 1: Watch “KAN KUKEJAR CINTA KAMU” in Astro Ria Channel 104 from Monday to Thursday (10.00pm – 11.00pm);

Step 2: Go to RoyalePharma website (http://www.royalepharma.com) and answer weekly questions correctly.


Step 3: Purchase of ANY products worth RM100.00 in a single receipt from RoyalePharma Outlets OR “www.royalepharma.com” during the contest period;

OR

Purchase of ANY Consumer range of Pharmaniaga’s products worth RM100.00 in a single receipt from any independent pharmacies/ RoyalePharma alliances nationwide or selected BH Petrol stations during the contest period;

All entries submitted herein shall belong to and are the property of the Organiser.

Contestants are allowed to submit multiple entries throughout the Contest Period or Extended Period. However, all Contestants are required to present unique proof of purchase for each entry and entitle to win one (1) prize only for his/her participation in this Contest. The Organiser reserves the right to select other eligible winner(s) should the Organiser discovered any duplication of winner names for the Contest.

Contestants must ensure that all details given for the purpose of this Contest are true, correct and accurate. Contestants must also ensure that the contact details (email or telephone number) provided are in existence and contactable. The Organiser reserves the rights to verify the information provided by Contestants in any form it deems fit.

Charges

Contestants will bear any charges and/or related cost for entries submission.

Entry Deadline

(Weekly Contest)

 

 

Entry to the Weekly Contest opens every Monday, starting on 17 December 2018 and closes every Sunday of the week, 12.00 midnight. The contest will run for 7 weeks until 3 February 2019.
All Weekly Contest entries must be submitted by the weekly closing date. Failure to do so will disqualify the entry.

Selection of Winners

Selection of winners will be based on the following criteria: 

1.       Weekly Winners
a. The correct answer for Contest Questions which are posted on “RoyalePharma” Facebook page and Instagram; and

b. Winner will be chosen from a random draw of the entry received in accordance with the T&C.
c. Fulfills the requirements as in Clause 9.  

2.       Grand Prize, 1st Prize, 2nd Prize & 3rd Prize Winners

a. Winner will be chosen from a random draw of the entry received in accordance with the T&C.; and

b. Fulfills the requirements as in Clause 9.

 

The Organiser reserves the right to determine, vary and/or change the number of winner(s) to be selected or allocated, subject to its discretion. The judges' decision in determining and selecting the winners for both Contests is final. No appeal via correspondence or attempts to appeal, review, dispute of such decision will be entertained.

Prize

The details of Contest prize are available via RoyalePharma website at http://www.royalepharma.com/kkkck.

All prizes are not transferable, non‐refundable and non‐exchangeable/redeemable for cash, credit or rebate of any kind and do not include any accessories or items shown in any advertisements and/or promotional materials which are for photography purposes only. Winner is fully responsible for all taxes that may be payable or taxable (if any).

All prizes are subject to availability and the Organiser reserves the rights, without prior notice or assigning any reason whatsoever and has sole discretion to substitute any prize with other prizes of similar value without prior notice and without giving any compensation to the winners.

The Organiser reserves the right to change the prizes to other prizes of the same value at any point of time without prior notice. The prizes are non-transferable and all prizes are given on an “as is” basis and are not exchangeable for any other form, i.e. cash, goods, credit or services in part or in full. Pictures of the prizes shown in the promotional materials are for illustration purposes only. Actual prizes may differ from the pictures shown.

Notification of Winner

Notification or announcement of Weekly Contest winner(s) shall be made within FOURTEEN (14) working days after the end of the Weekly Contest Period.

Notification or announcement of Grand Prize, 1st Prize, 2nd Prize & 3rd Prize winner(s) shall be made by March 2019.


The Organiser shall not be responsible or be liable if any of the winners cannot be contacted.
The Organiser further reserves the full right to disqualify any winner if any attempt to contact them has failed for any reason whatsoever.

ORIGINAL receipt required to present to organiser before weekly closing period/end of the contest period.

Prizes Collection Method

Prize collection method to be arranged between the prize Winners and the Organiser. All costs and expenses (including meals, transportation or personal expenses, etc.) for the purpose of collection of the prize shall be solely borne by the winner.

Prizes, which are damaged/lost/stolen after collection, are not replaceable and the Organiser disclaims any obligations to replace the damaged prizes.

The winner shall be bound by the rules or any terms and conditions govern the relationship between the winner and the party who provides, delivers and/or sponsors the prize for this Contest. 

In the event the Organiser holds a prize giving ceremony, the Contest winners are required to attend at his/her own cost and expense to collect the prize. In the event the Contest winners are not able to attend the prize giving ceremony, the Contest winners must nominate a representative to be present at the prize giving ceremony to accept the prize on his/her behalf and pre-notify (at least 3 working days) the Organiser accordingly.

The prize must be claimed by the winner in person and subject to the rules or any terms and conditions imposed by our prize sponsors. The winner must produce original identity card for verification to collect the prize.

Copyright, Announcement and Confidentiality

By entering into this Contest, all Contestants and/or winners hereby grant the Organiser perpetual and non-exclusive rights to broadcast the names, pictures or images or display any matter related to all Contestants and/or winners for publicity, advertising, trade or promotional purposes in any media without further notice to all Contestants or winners. All Contestants and/or winners are not entitled to claim any payment in any form, fee or compensation for the use of their images or details in relation to the above.

All Contestants and/or winners shall not make any public announcement on the Contest (including but not limited to the prize) without the prior written consent of the Organiser.

All Contestants and/or winners acknowledge, understand and agree that their details may be shared by the Organiser for the purposes of the Contest.


Any Contestant’s information or personal data (“Personal Data”) provided by Contestants to the Organiser in connection with the Contest shall be strictly kept confidential except to any activities mentioned thereto.


The Organiser shall take all reasonable precautions to preserve the integrity and prevent any corruption or loss, damage or destruction of Contestant’s Personal Data and comply with the requirement of Personal Data Protection Act 2010.

Variation to the Terms and Conditions

The Organiser reserves the rights to change, amend, delete or add to these Terms and Conditions either in written or verbal communications without prior notice at any time.

By participating in this Contest, all Contestants agrees to be bound by this terms and conditions, notices, amendments and all decisions made by the Organiser.

In the event of any dispute, conflict, uncertainty or ambiguity relating to the Terms and Conditions hereto, or any matter involving this Contest, the Organiser will resolve the matter in its absolute and unfettered discretion and the entire decision in the matter shall be conclusive and final.

Liability

The Organiser shall not be responsible or liable for any misinterpretation or misrepresentation of facts in respect of the prizes offered as published in any media, marketing or advertising materials.
The Organiser shall not be responsible or liable for any lost, misdirected, illegible, late, mutilated or altered entries. Proof of transmission will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
The Organiser shall not be responsible or liable for any failure by any Contestant to participate in the Contest at any time.
All Contestants shall assume full liability in the case of any mishap, injury, damage, claim or accidents resulting from their participation in the Contest and/or redemption of the prizes.

The Organiser shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something beyond its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any circumstances amounting to force majeure

The Organiser shall not be liable to the all Contestants for:
(a) any loss or damage suffered by the all Contestants arising from their participation or non‐participation in the Contest due to any act or omission by the Organiserand; 
(b) for any misuse of any prize or for any claims or liability arising from the use of the prizes.

Disqualification, Suspension, Cancellation or Termination of Contest

The Organiser reserves the right at its sole discretion and without having to assign any reason whatsoever, to disqualify any individual for the following:
(a) that it determines to be tampering with the operation of the Contest;
(b) to be acting in breach or potential breach of these Terms and Conditions; or
(c) for submitting incomplete, illegible or false entries.

The decision to disqualify shall be final and no correspondence shall be entertained.
The Organiser reserves  the right, with or without cause, to exclude Contestant and withhold prizes for violating any of the Terms and Conditions herein.
The Organiser reserves the right to cancel, suspend, delay or terminate the Contest at its absolute discretion without giving prior written notice to the Contestants or in the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

In the event of suspension, cancellation, delay or termination of the Contest for any reason by the Organiser, all Contestants or the winner shall not be entitled to make any claim or claim for compensation from the Organiser for any loss or damages suffered or incurred as a direct or indirect result of the said occurrence.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Terms and Conditions are governed by the Laws of Malaysia and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them shall subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Malaysia.
